Actually washing your hair does do damage. You should try going ATLEAST every other day without washing your hair. If you can go two days. I know it might sound gross but trust me you will see a dramatic difference after getting into a routine. Your hair will look and feel healthier. Do condition every time you wash and make sure you comb your wet hair with a wide-toothed comb after washing. If you need to wet your hair a little after the bed head sets in it is better than washing and using shampoo. Focus on the roots while shampooing and the ends while conditioning and use a good shampoo. If you buy a professional shampoo/conditioner you will realize you don't use as much because it's not made up of mostly water like cheaper brands. Wash your body everyday-----make sure you moisturize though. You need to give your hair a break! It's tired.

I happen to have extremely oily hair and scalp. If I don't shampoo daily, my hair will look wet from the grease. It's embarasing. And I only used conditioner every other day. Apparently I'm a bit different then everyone else here, but everyone has different hair. Mine doesn't seem to be damaged at all by my hair care proceedures. My friend who is a hair dresser says it's extremely soft and healthy and she loves to play with it. But I guess it really depends on the type of hair you have.

yes it actually can but onky if you are washing your hair everyday. I shower daily and wash my hair daily and does it damage my hair. yes. It actually drys it out but only because we are washing out all of the natural oils and things that come from not washing it everyday. The important thing is using the right products which help keep your hair natural and healthy.

like a hydrating shampoo and conditioner. and just one day on the weekend when you know your not going to be around anyone dont wash your hair. that way the natural oils can help your hair,.

You should shower daily. But I only use shampoo 2 to 3 times a week, and just conditioner the other days. Shampooing everyday dries your hair out.

,No matter what you should shower daily. However, you do not have to wash your hair everyday. I wash every other day or 2-3 times a week. Just make sure that on days you don't wash, you rinse it well to get rid of product buildup and don't forget to condition!

Yes just because you shower daily doesn't mean you have to wash your hair everytime! Over excessive washing strips oils from your hair and makes it more susceptible to damage!

Showering? No. Washing? Yes! Your hair needs its natural oils to be healthy. Of course, everybody had different hair types, and you need to think about what's right for you. If you have "normal" (not oily) hair, once or twice a week is fine. You need also to take into account if you have thick or fine hair.

Our bodies are amazing - and they take pretty good care of themselves if we let them!

no, its actually quite good for ur hair as long as you rinse well and condition but not TOO much conditioner. but careful, if u overdo it, like a shower in the morning AND @ nite in the same day, u could get dandruff
