Would you have the same attitude toward Canadians if there were as many Canadians illegally immigrating to the U.S., or are you just picking on Mexican immigrants because they have less money in their pocket than you do?

We Anglos have to feel superior to someone. Once it was the American Indians, then the Chinese, then the African-Americans. At this time the Mexicans are the easiest and safest target.

Yes. It's not about the race. It's because it's illegal. It's against the law. Why do you people not know that. I think that all of you bleeding hearts need to get some other hobby. Because nobody is on your side. Try to realize that. And it's not because they have less money in their pocket. It's ILLEGAL and all the Mexican "Illegal" immigrants are bringing drugs over to the U.S. and just hurting us.

I think very few are anti-immigrant but many are anti-illegal immigrant. There is a legal procedure to come here as there is to most countries, those who begin by breaking our laws need to at the very least go back and do it the right way no matter what race or nationality they may be. There should be no amnesty for those who do not respect the laws of our country. By the same token legitimate immigrants should be treated more fairly and their cases expedited in a more efficient way. Currently it is much easier and faster for an employer to legally sponsor an immigrant than it is for a U.S. citizen to sponsor their spouse. The priority for immigration shouldn't be to provide cheap labor.

Are you kidding? Illegal is illegal, period. If you want to come to America and start a life here, you must go through the proper channels to obtain that right. I don't think it is a Mexican thing. There are simply way too many people here that do not belong here. And while we are on the subject, I feel that if you want to come to America, learn the language first. It's English, period. Not Spanish, not French, not Chinese, but English. Look it up, the legal language in the USA is English. The Cubans that took rafts to escape Castro's tyranny should be allowed to stay, so long as they learn the language and commit to being upstanding US citizens and apply for legal status. Same with Mexican refugees, if they are here due to political or health issues in their own country. Personally, I'd hate to see our country overrun with Canadians. They are about as useful as those commie, yellow belly Frenchies. And they talk funny, too.

OK....I am not anti-immigrant......I am anti-illegal immigrant...and to answer your question YES I would be...however it is not the Canadians that are entering this country illegally by the thousands.......so be you mexican or Canadian...or any other nationality for that matter...if you are here illegal...go home and come back the right way....when you do that I will welcome you with open arms....until then you are just another illegal....and I hope they round you up and send you home.

No I in particular think both boarders need to be closed off, where nobody can get in or out w/o alot of checks to make sure they aren't up to something. I'm not against mexicans, canadians, or any other race, religion, or nationality. I just don't like people taking jobs away from Americans because they will work for half the minium wage.

The Hype about illieagal Mexican immagrants is what you see and hear on TV. The population of Mexican illigeal immagrants are so much more greater than any other race, that is why the focus has been on them.

Well if rich people come here and spend money, or start business ro do investment, no problems here.
Poor uneduicated people make this country a third world country. They commit crimes.
Businessmen Mexicans, Mexican scientists, mexican sportsmen are welcomed, and they can immigrate legally.
