Hi,
I am 24 years old software engineer. I have the habit of masterbating once in a week, i know it is harmless, but after that i feel very tired and drowsy and also makes me psycologically down for another two days... Pls tell me the best way to control masterbation... what i have to do or key techniques for quitting this habit... guide me !!

Pls do not send your comments... i have posted this to get a good reply or suggestion to control this habit and not to see your funny or silly comments...

Once a week is nothing to worry about and I doubt the symptoms you describe are caused by masturbation unless guilt makes you psychologically down. There are no techniques to control masturbation except for deciding not to do it. Masturbation is normal and I expect once weekly is far less than some guys. Stop worrying about it, it's only a problem if you prefer masturbation to sex with a partner.

I don´t think that´s wrong, but if it makes you feel uncomfortable...
You could give yourself "rewards" every time you want to do it but you manage to avoid it.

Other option is to make some kind of journal, where every time you want to, before doing it you write it down. It´s a good way to make yourself think twice and it helps you see if you´re making any progress.
