a psychiatrist or a mental health center. You will most likely get medicine but counseling could help. The meds will make you feel better but the counseling could get to the root of the problem. Sometimes it's just a physical thing, not that you're upset about anything, and you won't need counseling. But only talking to the dr. or counselor will you know.

Learn EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) or 'emotional tapping.' EFT is easy to learn (takes less than one-half hour) and simple to apply. You can use it anytime, anyplace for any physical or emotional issue. I used to suffer from anxiety and depression, but now I use EFT every day (morning and evening for a few minutes) for anything/everything that bothers me.

You can download the FREE EFT manual from the Emotional Freedom website (www.emofree.com).

Most importantly, no doctors, therapists or medications.

Get therapy. If you can't afford it, your county probably has a health department that will use a sliding scale to fit your income.

You can also go to your regular family doctor. He can prescribe anti-depressants for you.

A therapist would do, but usually it's just a self-help that will help you get through depression.

See a psychiatrist or if you are strapped for cash or have no insurance, see if there is a free counseling service in your area.

generally, a therapist. you could see a physciatrist, because they can prescribe drugs, but those don't usually help with depression too much.
