If Discordians/Chaos Mages are just a religious joke, then why do I get such bad vibes?

From a bunch of them that abused me on another site, or worried that one of them abused someone close to me?

Discordians actually, or with tongue in cheek, adhere to their vows the create discord and chaos. They can be enjoyable or terrible depending how you react to them. However, you can say that about many religionists including the peoples of the Bible.
