I think the bible says not to get tattoos. So you will burn in hell if you get a tattoo. Or you can realize that the bible is fiction and get a tattoo of a hula dancer.

Enhancing your faith in God can be done by first finding out what God requires and then doing those requirements. This way you will have God's favor and you can know that you are actually pleasing him. Studying the Bible will help you draw closer to God and get to know him. A tattoo wouldn't really help enhance your faith because it is just a symbol, but the respect you will get from others for exercising your faith in God will make your eyes shine.

Study the scriptures. Find some bibles with annotated commentary. Get several versions of these. Take some courses and study some good books on theology and apologetics. Learn the Greek and the Hebrew or at least be able to investigate word roots. Pray daily to draw near to God. Form your prayers using the following pattern: Adoration, Contrition. Thanksgiving, Supplication (ACTS).

No need for tattoos. If you do the above, you will have sufficient reminders.

Don't get a tattoo! It's very painful and depending on where you get it you even risk acquiring potentially fatal diseases like Hepatitis.

If you change your mind and decide you don't want the tattoo any longer it will cost a LOT of money for *many* painful laser treatments to have it removed. Even then some of it may be unremovable.

If you can't afford the treatments you're stuck with it. Also, as you grow older and your skin wrinkles and sags, the tattoo will also do the same and become even more unsightly.

Do yourself a favor: if you must get a tattoo, get one of those that last for a few days then wash off. You'll thank me when you're older...don't ask me how I know ;)

Significantly, the Mosaic Law forbade God’s people to tattoo themselves. Said Leviticus 19:28: “You must not make cuts in your flesh for a deceased soul, and you must not put tattoo marking upon yourselves. I am Jehovah.” Pagan worshipers, such as the Egyptians, tattooed the names or symbols of their deities on their breast or arms. By complying with Jehovah’s ban on tattoo markings, the Israelites would stand out as different from other nations.—Deuteronomy 14:1, 2.

While Christians today are not under the Law of Moses, the prohibition it laid on tattooing is sobering. (Ephesians 2:15; Colossians 2:14, 15) If you are a Christian, you would certainly not want to make markings on your body—even temporarily—that smack of paganism or false worship.—2 Corinthians 6:15-18.

A tattoo to help remind you?? Are you serious? If you feel as though you need a perminent note to help you remember what you believe in, I am guessing you are either too young to legally get a tattoo- or mentally unstable. You can enhance your faith in God by meditating, listening to gospel, reading scripture, etc...

I think reading His word. Being around other Christians is good too. That way you can be witnessed to. Seeing God move in your life and others only makes it all that more clear. Also, just ask God. He will help! I will pray for you now! God bless you for seeking our Lord.

You could enhance your faith by studying God's word the Bible and by prayer. Getting a tattoo would only please yourself. God does not care about that sort of worship. In fact, there is a place in the bible where he tell us that we should not deface our body.. give me a minute i'll see if i can find it.

You get in His Word, you deny yourself and embrace life and helping others, you pray hard and all the time. Prayer is how we communicate to God. Think about if you and I were on the phone, it's a two way connection. That's how it is with God. I know it may sound silly, but treat God like He's your best friend. He already knows you, just talk to Him. Tell Him God you know where I am, and I want more of you, so God show Yourself to me. Please know that He will.
