I think if you havent fallen in love with her in 9 months you are wasting both of your time. I think you should find the girl that knocks you off your socks. Its going to hurt her more when she finds out you just said it, but didnt mean it. NEVER say it if you dont mean it. Thats why everyone says its used to much, because people just throw it around thinking nothing of it. Help her, and help yourself, and move on...it will just get worse

9 months is A LONG time to be dating someone and not love them. Maybe you should ask yourself this... Would she be more hurt if you left her and she ended up finding someone who really loved her and appreciated her for all that she's worth? Or would she be more hurt if you dragged out a relationship for years knowing full well that you don't have the same feelings for her as she does you?
I know what I would prefer....

9 months? well true theres no hurry to saying I love you but why be in a relationship if it doesnt lead to love for you?
you shouldnt say it just to make her happy, you have to want to mean it, I dont think it will hurt her if you simply tell her the truth; that your not ready to say that yet. If it becomes that much of a problem for her its on her to resolve it, either wait until you are confident in giving her that much committment or move on to somebody who "just wants to make her happy"
but not saying it your not wrong, just honest with yourself.

Wow...I do not think is is wise to tell someone you love them and really you don't. How would you feel if someone did that to you? I think the key to findind the answer to this question is to put yourself in her shoes. Bending to her will and telling her you love her because that is what she wants to hear shows a possible problem in the relationship. Wha't next? Are you going to have sex because that what she wants at the time? Or are y ou going to listen to your own heart and mind?

Don't lie to her, she deserves better then that.
I dated a girl for six months and at the end of that time I figured if I didn't lover by then I should let her find someone who would.
You're holding her back, so in the long run you are hurting her.

It's not neccessarily wrong, but it isn't fair to either of you. It's not fair to her because you may never actually feel that way about her and she will then be let down when/if you dump her. It's not fair to you because you are taking on the burden of making yourself want to continue the lie. Once you say it you have to continue to say it.

Yes...it is wrong to tell her You love her and not mean it. You should just tell her that you have feelings for her. You are not being fair to her or her heart by telling her that you love her.

Uh oh. Im scared. Now you've made me stop saying it for reals. Recently i've been the one to initiate the 'i love you' and i hope that my bf isnt changing his mind... :/ Thanks to you, i'm going to not initiate it anymore. And that scares me because i know he might not say it. *sigh* ANYWAYS, If you dont want to break up with her then.....maybe you do love her. are you expecting too much maybe...?
