If you had an open wound and I offered to put cat droppings on it (as per standard ancient egyptian medical practice) would you accept it or just let it fester on its own? Now, I understand that modern medicine would say that the bacteria in the droppings would cause septicemia, but this was widely accepted thousands of years ago, so it can save you too!

This is the kind of logic being used to sway people to Jesus.. someone please explain how this makes any kind of sense.

Hey Smoochy!!!! I'm finally back in my house and I got my new Pearl drumkit! I never really listened to anything from The Cure, and the song you posted isn't really my cup of tea. At least not right now, since I usually go back to bands I thought were okay before and give them another listen.

While asking this question, you have got to understand how high of a pedestal that cats were on in the ancient Egyptian times.
Any type of secretions from a cat was considered like gold.
That is almost like herbal remedies in our day in age.
Convincing people that they use fecal matter from a cat to cure wounds was a strong argument.
But the bigger argument was worshipping a cat compared to man. That was more successful

There are many more things that were normal and accepted parts of peoples lives then and now.

While most of them have not held true throughout the years and cultures, Jesus Christ and his ministry and his word have held true and have not fallen by the wayside, much to the dismay of those who would like to not ever have their concience bothered by truth.

Egyptians also used to urinate on certain leaves to determine if they were pregnant, and another leaf to determine the sex of the child.

Gods word has withstood the test of time and it will continue to hold true, no matter how much some would like to never be reminded of truth again.

well over the course of time science has proven that cat droppings would not be the best medicine.....but science has not proven that this man, jesus did not exist.....
obviously something happened somewhere in time to create such a story that it is still told today, was it fabricated? probably....but the fact is no one can prove it didn't happen....

...but believing in Jesus won't kill you. Not believing in him will.
