Ok, I have this guy friend and he's a lot older than I am. I don't want anything other than friendship from him, but I'm not sure if he may want something more. He bought me something beuaitufl for Valentine's Day and it was definitely more than I was expecting. I'm not sure...I guess it feels like he likes me, but I don't want that kind of thing. I also want to stay friends and I don't know if that will happen if I turn him down. I think things might be weird. He's a great friend and one I like to share with my other friends. Help...

did he buy you a hat?
i think your best bet is to be up front with him. if you don't, he might be getting mixed signals from you or he might be misinterpreting your friendship as something else. talk to him and make sure you have a can of mace ready in case he tries to date-drug you. and a good hat might help, too.
