I had a dentist appointment yesterday and I'm getting braces soon. I asked my dentist if I had to get spacers and she said no because they don't use the kind of braces that use brackets. She said they use the kind that are cemented to the teeth. So what kind do they use?

this depends on what exactly you mean by spacers, but you usually only need spacers when you are getting bands placed around (usually) the back teeth and there isn't enough room between the teeth for the band to fit. you may not be getting bands around any teeth, or maybe you already have enough room between your teeth for the band to fit. good luck with your braces and remember to take extra good care of your teeth while you have them on! :)
