i have hered some user named yuck screwed the pacifier in to the wall one person time it to the lge of a table and kid had lay down to get what one is the best do you have any ideas

If your are trying to ween and not completely get rid of the pacifier i have heard that some ppl tie a string to the pacie and then tie it to an unmovable object, like the door knob, that makes it harder for the child to do any thing while sucking on it. While doing this weening process it is most times a good idea to distract the child with new events or with toys. when they wine for the pacie or go looking for it, then distract them, but if your child is a child that depends on strict routine and has a problem adjusting then you may want to try a weening process, if the child is biting the nipple off the pacie then you need to take it away as well as the bottle, they can choke on these things and some can also make them very sick.....

If you're not ready to just throw them away, start the weaning by letting them have it for naps and bedtime only. Then just one or the other, whichever they have the most problem with. Then toss it entirely. They will be upset at first, but they'll get over it in a few days, I promise!

Just throw the pacifier away! The child will cry for a day or two but they will live and you will too! Just throw it away!

are you suggesting some sort of cruelty? Did yu mean tied a pacifier to the leg of a table? add more to your question to clarify

just cut the nipple entirely off the pacifier and tell your child it is broken. they will get frustrated and not want it any more. BE THE PARENT. if they freak out, let them. it will be over after a couple of days.

yeah i'd agree with just throw it away, they won't remember for long as they'l be distracted by other things, there might be a couple tntrums the first day or two but just redirect them to other activities, my son never took to the dummy so i didn't have the problem but i would've just biffed it lol
