The other night someone was diving my car and hit a trash dumpster that was in the street. It was late at night on a dark road so he didn't see it, will I still be coverage? I am not gonna tell the insurance company that someone else was driving it.

It doesnt matter if its the drivers fault or not (as obviously this was your friends fault but im sure you now that...) if you have COLLISION coverage- they will pay for your damages. If you have liability only insurance.. then obviously it wont be covered because you cant go after the dumpster for repairs.

And please... dont lie. You will get yourself in a HEAP of trouble if you slip up and they find out.. and they may very well deny your claim then. Its OK to have an unlisted driver drive your vehicle every once in awhile.

I've seen many of these claims... It is particularly now not that gigantic of a deal. The loss is covered under the collision part of your coverage (the automobile collided with the bottom). There's a _slight_ hazard an adjuster could handle this as a complete claim (which many times has a lessen deductable and would be better, rate shrewd, if even though the deductable was the same) however i will guarentee you, this can be a collision claim. This is a protected underneath loss below your auto coverage, as long as you may have collision insurance plan. No other coverage applies. It realy does not topic that you may/were have been the final/just one to tighten the lug nuts on the wheel. This must be a question the adjuster will ask as f it used to be any individual else, like a enterprise, they would have a healing talents against them. Consider free to inform the adjuster you had been the last one to tighten the nuts... It is not going to alternate the coverage or the "at-fault" popularity of the declare.

Lying and cheating have never benefitted anyone. You sound very young and should think about future mistakes. By all means contact your ins. agent, and be upfront about what happened. So far as paying for the damages yourself, this may cost more than any small ins. increase. Perhaps the trash dumpster was in an illegal place? Perhaps your ins. will cover another driver? Don't run and hide before you know the reality, I am not sure, but most repair shops have to keep records and it could surface later on. Accept resonsibility and don't loan your car. Best wishes

i have seen lots of those claims... that is fairly no longer that significant of a deal. The loss is roofed lower than the collision area of your coverage (the motorized vehicle collided with the floor). there's a _slight_ probability an adjuster would cope with this as a finished declare (which from time to time has a decrease deductable and could be more beneficial advantageous, cost smart, if regardless of if the deductable grow to be an similar) yet i can guarentee you, this can be a collision declare. this can be a coated lower than loss lower than your vehicle coverage, as long as you've collision insurance. No different insurance applies. It realy does no longer count number that you'll/were were the most suitable/in trouble-free terms one to tighten the lug nuts on the wheel. this must be a question the adjuster will ask as f it grow to be some different person, like a organization, they might have a fix ability hostile to them. experience free to inform the adjuster you've been the most suitable one to tighten the nuts... it gained't substitute the insurance or the "at-fault" status of the declare.

Be honest--your insurance most likely covers drivers other than you who had permission. The only reason I could see hiding is if the other driver didn't have a license or something like that. Plus the other driver's insurance should really cover the accident. By being honest you might get his insurance company to foot the bill so you don't have to pay for the deductible.

ALRIGHT. Tell a LIE to get out of trouble. I am happy to see someone have Morals they can be PROUD OF. Does your automobile, (that is a car) have headlights? (they are the two shiny things that project light ahead of the *car* at night) How does someone hit something as big as a Dumpster? I can tell you ARE going FAR in life, and be proud of yourself for sticking it to the Insurance Company. One part of your question I do not understand. ( will I still be coverage? ) Sorry I could not help more.

As long as they were using your vehicle with permission, then yes it is covered it will be considered a collosion claim which WILL make your premium increase. So depending on how much damage was done, it may not be worth it to report it to the insurance CO

You don't have to lie. If the person driving had your permission, he is covered under your policy. It doesn't matter who was driving if you have collision coverage on your policy. That coverage pays for the damages to your vehicle. Plus, if you lie and they find out about that, they can disclaim coverage to you.

If you have liability insurance it won't cover it. Full coverage it will cover it, but it will raise your premium.
