Non-believers in evolution, that is..
Why can't you accept that Dikika baby is your ancestor?

Does it mean that you have to re-examine your faith or can you accept that perhaps the earth wasn't formed in 6 days and that some myth is a part of your bible? Does evolution have to be discounted because the bible doesn't jive with it?

just to preface, i didn't read the link. 1) Creation was made in 6 days. "The Earth was empty and without form." 2) Actually, the Bible is myth, just as is any story that any people take and order their lives around. That's definition of any myth, so that part of your question makes no sense. 3) Evolution doesn't have to be discounted, but there are people who have not yet balanced and figured stuff out in their heads, so why don't you let them figure it out instead of trying to beat them over the head with what you believe?

Actually the Bible doesn't have anything to say about evolution. It does not mention the specific mechanics of the Creation, only that it was accomplished.

Why can't you accept that maybe, just maybe, there is a God. And that your own ancestry carried on a legacy of faith that you have forsaken. I wouldn't want to be there at THAT family reunion in the hereafter....

A poor and impoverished nation like Ethiopia has scientists who are pioneering studies into evolutionary biology and if creationists had their way Americans wouldn't even be taught it in school. They'd like Americans to be totally ignorant of science unlike more enlightened and advanced nations such as those in Africa.

That's awesome. Kind of like the skeleton they found that showed humans once had longer fingers and arms and climbed trees.

Ancestry can be traced through DNA. (Mine is R1b1). Since that link says nothing about DNA, I feel safe in saying; you cant prove it is any human ancestor.
