Joining the military and want to know a little about the job.

be informed of the MOS you choose when you go in. Some of these are closed to re-classifying, so if you don't like it then you might not be able to switch to a different MOS. Also, look into what it transfers to in the Civilian job market.

My husband is 11B - infantry. He likes what he does but he is struggling to find an equivilant for when he leaves the Army in 2008.

If you like riding a metal box and getting shot at with artillery and who knows what else, then it is a great job.
