In 1992 it was thought that badgers wer being persicuted by several different groups of people and to stop them dying out altogether they needed protection,at the timeit worked allright for a while but then they started invading peoples property to concrete over setts, so farmers and general public stopped reporting sights. Now the badgers are safe from the cruel practices that carried on before they. now have flurrished and its the farmers cattle (dairy herds that are being destroyed because of infection from tb). that are suffering, something needs to be done we are already seeing an increase in tb in humans.Surely the sensible thing to do would be to cull in the infected areas and for a group such as RSPCA to do it humanely.
