First of all let me congratulate you on trying to quit it takes some guts. Now what you need to do is get some nicorette gum they make real good tropical flavor whenever you want to smoke chew some of that,And try to walk or exercise once a day or as ofen as you can and if your really having a hard time take up the patch.

Hope I have helped you M8 and good luck!

Smoking, like a lot of this, is done out of habit with a certain situation to spark it. The way my grandfather quit was to replace the smoking habit with another one. For example, he used to smoke after meals. So, now he gets up and clens up after the meal to distract his mind. Just replace the smoking habit with something productive and that will take brain power to distract you. Good luck and way to go!

Keep going. I'm on day 16 an it's getting easier. Try patches. If you get family tax credit you should be able to get Nicotine Replacement help through your doctor.

Most people find it easier to quit smoking if they quit drinking at the same time!

I gave up recently too. more exercise worked for me. Or failing that try chewing gum, coffee, anything to keep your mind active. It does get easier trust me.
