I love German Shephards, I like their friendly but protective personalities, but mostly i love their looks. My mom doesnt like how dogs smell which is a main reason why she wont let me have one. I know bigger dogs tend to smell more and are harder to handle. So, is there a mixed breed of German Shephard mix that looks like a German Shephar, had the friendly personality, but maybe isnt so wild(i still want it energetic) and not as big?

Just the name of the breed mix will help, or u can give me links to websites or pics 2. Thanks

I'm not sure you'll be able to find a 'small' German Shepherd, no matter the mix, unless anyone does miniature types.

But we have a GS mixed with what is likely a greyhound, and he's at least medium build. In fact, he's quite slim, a lot less bulky than most German Shephers.

There are some similar dogs here:

There is no "breed" of mixed German Shepherd. Just look for a dog that meets your requirements and don't focus on its breed or mix.

Here is an index of dog breeds that explains what is good and bad about each breed. Once you know what type of dog you want and your mom is in support of you getting a dog, search for a rescue dog at www.petfinder.com.
