Throwing money at a problem is rarelly a solution. There are many causes to poverty, and these need to be addressed before hand. Education is the best tool to fight poverty, but education is expansive and not many countries fund the school system entirely.

Minimum wage laws work, but only if the companies cannot get cheap labor in another country.

Groups involved in helping other countries can receive funding that is well used, however many groups spend more on advertising than social initiatives, and you have to be careful who you donate money to.

The world is a big place though. And until it is no longer in constant war, famine will be a constant.

One big thing they could do to help all poor people of the world is to stop giving aid to there bad governments.They keep dictators in power with this dirty money.

Because they would have to lead by example and none of them want to part with their own money.
