Maybe because they don't take a rake? Or maybe you just can't. Anyone know?

If people you know play at other sites, why can't I play at Party Poker where I used to play?

There are still several places to play poker online for US citizens. The difficulty comes in depositing and withdrawing your funds. WSEX.com is a sportsbook and I'm sure they have a good poker room. That being said there are better online poker rooms who will still accept US players. I still play at Party Poker because I am not located in the US, however Party did pull out of the US market after the enactment of the new US Gambling Legislation. Although unfair it is unforrtunaley a fact. I have to admit playing poker at Party Poker isn't quite the same without all our American friends!

I also play at absolute and I have to admit their software is much better and have a ton of Americans playing there. I suggest to you if you are looking to replace Party Poker with a site that is similar to better then try absolute. They also have excellent deposit and withdrawl methods available for US players. I have included a link and hope to see you there!

Cheers,
