I lost my driver's license and I'm flying out of town in 3 days. I have an expired passport (10 yrs expired) and an expired military id ( 1 week expired). Can I use these ids and what else would I need?

TSA policy is that if you have expired or no identification, you are automatically a target of special screening -- you might be permitted to fly, but you are automatically a suspicious traveller, and they have every right to keep you off the plane.

I strongly recommend that you do your best to get a replacement drivers license before your flight -- you still have a couple days, and it's quite easy. However, if that is impossible:
* Give yourself plenty of extra time at the airport (more than usual!)
* Be polite at all times, and comply with any security checks TSA requires.

It honestly depends on who's doing the checking, but you'd better assume the answer is no. Get down to DMV right away and get the driver's license replaced. You should be able to use the expired passport for identification there.

No, my husband license had expired in elementary words sometime old from his birthday very last 365 days and they gave us a frustrating time. Delta recommended us because it replaced into in elementary words an afternoon expired they could enable him to fly. We fly each and every of the time and they recognize us. We fly weekly for artwork. All TSA, airways and transportation has strict rules and a license that's that old received't fly. TSA and brokers are educated to ascertain birthdays and expiration dates on identity. Get a sparkling one.
