Depends on your definition of sound. If your definition of sound is people hearing it, then no. But if your definition of sound is vibrating molecules, then yes, it does make a sound. Of course, since sound is just vibrating molecules, that are interpreted by our brain, then no, sound can't exist without someone or something to hear it. Is there a squirrel in the tree, cuz I bet he'd hear if it fell.
