Would really depend on their area of expertise (yes, even clergy have them, lol). I have not been overly impressed to this point with the ethicists I have known. Probably like the atheists, I see a bit too much hypocrisy going on.

The real truth...when it comes to ethics...I would probably ask my own daddy (not the God one, lol).

More valuable: ethicists, for what we can out into action in life

More interesting: Clergy for the entertainment value (even tho' I'm ordained, lol)

As an atheist, I would give more attention to the opinion of the ethicist, since I would expect that of a clergyman would be influenced what I would view as superstition. I wouldn't rule the clergyman's opinion out out of hand, but neither would I automatically accept the ethicist's opinion as gospel.

It's in the eye of the beholder.

For me it's the clergy since in another year and a half I'll be one of the clergy.

Ethicists.
The questions of the clergy often focus on the mythology of their faith, which is useless for those that are not of the faith. But ethicists must focus on answers for all.

I think you have two completely different things there. Just because I find it interesting that a person believes that they can bend reality to their will by clasping their hands and closing their eyes in no way makes it valuable

We need to use our senses, and begin to see, and sometimes read between the line, perception will help too, is all part of the process of expansion we need to achieved to grow, and achieved more knowledge, to expand our own giving by God, or God giving to man, "Gift of Intelligence"?
