... she just broke up with her steady bf. She just called me and told me she is very lonely and feeling bored...she asked me that if possible, could I spend the weekend at her place! I said that I'll have to check up with my job schedule & I'll call her later.

The thing is she is 32 yrs old, looks decent... but what does she really mean when she says she wants to spend a weekend with me (she lives in a nearby town)? Is she possibly expecting sex?

Have any of you guys had a similar experience before? Or if you were in this situation, what would you do next?

Are you or have you ever been friends with "benefits?" If yes, I think she is hoping for a little rebound action. If no, I think she is looking for a friend to be with her to take her mind off of the break-up.

Either way, making assumptions is dangerous. Know where you stand and behave accordingly. That is, if you want to share some "benefits" than be prepared to do so if the situation arises. If you do not want to share "benefits" then be prepared with a gentle and supportive let-down if the situation arises. Remember, we should treat our friends with caring and respect.

Finally, if you have never shared benefits before, know that sharing benefits will most likely substantially change your relationship with this woman, especially is she is emotionally vulnerable. If you want to the relationship to change, have at it. If you don't, then stay away from the bedroom. Casual sex is one of the great lies of all times. There is hardly anything causal about sex.

Maybe she just considers you a good friend and would like to see you for the weekend have some male company and someone she can be relaxed and have a laugh with. Then again she could be wanting to have sex it really depends on how good friends u are and if she sees you like that. I once spent the week with a very good friend as he was coming down to where i lived neither had any intention of anything like that happening and id never really looked him like that because he was one of my best mates but 4 days later a funny film and a bit to drink me were messing about fighting and one thing lead to another so id say if you dont want to dont go if you do see what happens u never know!!

If it were me, I would ignore work and head over there immediately for an "extended" weekend stay. I would not be surprised if the two of you never leave the bedroom (ok - you will probably make it to the kitchen but only to christen the counter).
