Look in your cupboard or refrigerator. There are many foods and drinks that will give you some colors. When you return to school tell your teacher that you want to paint pictures and you don't have money or paints at home I'll bet you she can help you out!

Alot of paint comes from bare minerals. Be creative. That's the whole point. Rub some leaves on something hard to get the green color, add a bit of water. You can also grab rocks or dirt. Flower petals as well.

Have a look in the kitchen cupboard and find the flour, mix it with water until it's creamy, then add food colouring, worked for me when I was a kid. Check out the spice rack as well, saffron makes a wonderful yellow. Good luck.

Try a Thrift Store. People are always buying art supplies thinking they will use them and a month or two goes by and then they donate them. I find brand new yarn in thrift stores all the time. It saves me $3 - 5.00 a skein, it's great! Or try a Free-cycle group in your area. LOADS of free stuff there!

Good luck! :)

First, don't EVER tell your age on the Internet. Second, you are far TOO YOUNG to be here unsupervised. Third, why aren't you in school right now? At nine, you should not be fooling around here.
