When I'm visiting Mexico, I'm the alien, the outsider, the person who's not in his own place. Therefore, I don't complain about being called a stranger, a foreigner, or even "gringo" because it's true. I say, what's fair for the American in Mexico is fair for the Mexican in the USA.

And if you're in the USA illegally, then you have no right to complain about being called *anything*.

If you were born in America, you aren't an alien. However, if you came to America from Mexico, you are an alien until you become a legal citizen. Alien is the "politically correct" term.

There's nothing inherently offensive in the term "alien". There is something offensive in many of the posts above, however.

What could Mexicans do?

Nada.

What could u do?

Well homez, I say unless we are Unidos de Mexicanos then, we could protest another May 1st, 2006 rally against racist Lou Dobb and his anglos followers.

However, I say create an organization or a press conference in ur local city, town, or country and get as many supporters to put an ENDZ against these people that uses Anglo Dict. "Aliens."

first, learn to spell
second, the term "alien" means it is different and does not belong
therefore, anyone who is in the US illegally is an alien
some people who are here legally but are not yet citizens are called "resident aliens", so the term is not deragatory at all
third, take an English course and learn the language so your comprehension will improve (because you obviously don't know what your question actually implies)

If you are an illegal alien and don't like the comments, GO HOME!! I'm getting very tired of paying taxes and having the illegal aliens taking advantage of our programs designed to help the US citizens that really need them.

If you are a legal citizen, do your part and help fight the problem. They are sponging off of you too!

Look at your own question...."we mexicans". You are a mexican, and if you are here legally then start calling yourself an American. If you are an ILLEGAL ALIEN then go back to mexico. NOW!

It is the correct term. Deal with it. What are you gonna do about it? Re-write the English language and change the definations to suit you?
