Do you prefer to use PCs rather than Apple Mac's?

I use both on a regular basis and prefer the Mac OS by a long shot.

The hardware for Windows machines is a little cheaper, and it is better at playing games. But you asked which I prefer to "use," and when I want to play games, I just get out my Xbox.

These sorts of questions always start the strangest fights. Most Windows and Macintosh users have never really used the other OS, but they always have strong opinions.

In my time using Macs, I have never once had to re-install the operating system -- something which my PC using friends have to do at least once a year.

Depends on what I am doing
Since my job is working with PCs, I love the tinker/toy factor, So I like PCs for that gadget reason.
I like Apples/Macs because they are great workhorses; If you want a device that will get the work done in Terms of Office work, and working with Graphics and Multimedia, as well as a great DVD playing unit, the Mac is great.
Since PCs are de facto Standards, then thats a plus there, but Macs have been extremely compatible for a long time with other Machines.
I Basically Like Both for different reasons.

Mac parts are expensive.I prefer PCs cause many softwares are compatible with it and most parts are easy to build and easy to find. PC becomes expensive depends on how will you use it. If you're just into typing I mean just using the Microsoft office then you can buy a PC around less than $100 if you're a hardcore gamer or you use a software that requires a very high end parts then that's the PC becomes expensive.

Mac parts here in my country, only rich people could afford it. :(

PC's. More choice, more support, more users and a better operating system.

People argue that Apple's look better - total rubbish. They are always last to the latest technology and make poor machines compared to the dozens of companies which make PC's.

I agree that microsoft had 'nicked' apples computer base 20 years ago but who cares. In the modern day, apples are always behind.

MACs are much better computers and have always been. Most people that bad mouth the MAC have never owned one and have no clue as to their capability. They are solid and 99% virus free.
