I saw on montel a lady inveted "tinkle targets". Where the child has to try to hit the target when he pees. I've never seen them in a store but using the same idea. Put something in the toilet, where he has to aim and shoot it and if he hits the "target" he'll get a prize. Good Luck!

I let my son run around the house naked from the waist down. He didn't want to pee on himself, so he learned to use the potty. I also bought him a SpongeBob stepstool to help him reach the toilet better. he never used a potty chair. He still poops his underwear, but he is making some progress with that lately. He will be 4 in August. Don't get frustrated. I suggest not using pull ups either, cuz he thinks it ok to pee in them.

just leave him for a while...you have probably tried to early, i made this mistake with my son and it just set him back even longer, he was nearly 4 when he was fully potty trained. the way i succeded in the end was i just left him for a few weeks then took him up town and let him pick some underpants for himself then just let him go when hes ready...praise him when he goes but DONT shout when he doesn't and see how that goes.....
GOOD LUCK

try different chair. get him familurised with chair, make it a game.
does he seem scared of it? don't flush with him around, may scare him. Are you using an attachment on the big pot? could be too high and scary, use foot stool or child potty chair. will he sit? for how long?
marshmallows or m&ms seem to work best

Keep trying. He may not be ready. He will start. You don't see 9 year olds walking around with diapers (at least I hope not). It will come.

Be patient. Sometimes it takes longer than you think. Don't let him see your frustration it might hurt his feelings and make it harder for him to "perform". Good luck!
