Okay I really like this guy friend of mine, and we talk on messanger for hours on end, he asked me to homecomming and i said yes. so should i take the next step and ask him out?

Of course you should. You two are already going on a date for homecoming so why shouldn't you go on other dates together as well.

See how the date goes. If it goes well, he'll ask again. He's already shown he has the gumption to ask you...
Another thing I'm confused about: when IS homecoming? Isn't that usually in the fall (at the beginning of the school year)? If that's too long for you to wait for your first date, and he's made it clear that homecoming will be a date (that you're not just going as friends), then just ask him if he'd like to go out on a first date sooner than the one you have planned.

no girls shoud never ask out a guy it's just not right hahha and maybe he will ask u out at the homecoming so you should just wait and see what happens next.... he could suprise you....

i would probably ask him if he wants to get together and wrap each other in saran wrap. I mean when you think about it, its as arbitrary as going to homecoming together.

no - HE needs to ask YOU out. He needs to be the one to initiate not you. That is the way it's supposed to be in my opinion.
it is a hard thing to do - but it's important to wait on hiim and let him lead. He's supposed to be the MAN.
