Is there any possible way to speed up my bitcomet download speed? I cant portforward because i dont have the password of the web admin, and i did all those tweaks in the prefrences as said in the P2P and torrentfreak websites, i'm currently downloading the bitcomet tracker, i was wondering if anyone knows this is the right thing to do or anything else...

Hey, if u can actually reset (to factory default) the router and use admin for the password and user name is blank. But make u have the persmission to do so first. WOuldnt wanna get u in trouble. :)
Also check out Shareaza and bittorrent as other torrent clients. Good luck!

I think if you raise the priority for the torrent, it makes it go quicker. just right click on the torrent, and select Priority and put it on high. I'm not sure if that helps. Also, downloading torrents that have a high number of seeders or peers will make it download quicker.

I'd experiment with other torrent programs first (UTorrent, Azureus), etc.
For example, I used Azureus, and it was so dam configurable, it was actually slower. So I switched to UTorrent and haven't had any problems.
Also, remember that your speed is proportional to the # of seeders. So if you have alot of seeders, your downloads will be alot faster.
