Blind people have other senses that are heightened by the loss of their sight. They have the sense of taste, touch, smell and hearing. Other than not being able to see with their eyes, they are the same as any other human being. I grew up with a father who was (and still is) blind. He is now in his mid-70's and probably still works 40 hours a week and is very physically fit and mentally sharp. He has to memorize everything because he doesn't have the luxury of writing notes and he's a whiz at doing complex math in his head because he can't see to write the problems out. In many ways he is much more advanced than I am.

After death, I feel we will still have the ability to see and hear. But I feel there are other senses that we will have--and especially the ability to see things from a different, wider perspective.

There is really not much difference. If during your earth life you have never been interested in the after-world, spirituality and God, one is then deaf, dumb and blind in the beyond, not permanently but for as long as it takes that there is life after death. However there is always the hope that sooner or later things will change and elevation will follow !

Blind people can't see in this life but I am sure when return to real life which is after death they will be able to see Jannah (Paradise) from their eyes.
