why isnt there any dental nurses that are male?

hi, i want to be a dentist but i was told to try out being a dental nurse but there dont seem to be any male ones.

is there anything elce i can use to help me become a dentist

There are definitely male dental nurses. Last year when I had my wisdom teeth cut out the dental assistant was a male.

I think waht you are reffering to is a dental assistant or a dental hygienest. both can be either male or female. But in the assistant field it is harder to be a man and get a job caues of liability. It's a smally chance but if the patient says that the doctor did something and there isn't another women in the room it may become more. So it just depends on the dr and what they prefer.
If you want to be a dentist then be a dentist you don't need to try anything first just do it if that's what you want to do.

I'm positive that there are male dental nurses out there. Have you looked everywhere? I don't think so.

It's just seen as a more feminine profession. There are male regular nurses. So I'm sure there are male dental nurses, too. Try it out and see if you like it. Don't be afraid to try it just because you've never seen a male dental nurse. I've never seen a million dollars, but I know it's out there.

However, you're probably referring to a dental hygienist or dental assistant.

as far as i know there are NO dental nurses. there are dental assistants, dental hygienists, general dentists, pediatric dentists endodontists, orthodontists, periodontists, prosthodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons. but i have never heard of a dental nurse. by the way all of the fields above are of both genders.
