I´d love to read some inteligent awnsers here. There are many arguments from both sides, so please lets not stay in the old disscussion:
Evolutionist:"Hey creationist are dumb!" (creationists always know how to reply to this)
Creationist:" Oh yeah! See the complexity of this life form, how did THAT evolve?"(evolutionists ALWAYS know how to reply to this)

Do you mean evolution as it actually happens or the versions that creationists haul out to poke full of holes?

The problem with this debate is that the creationists are talking about a version of evolution that exists only in their heads. Creationists aren't dumb, they're just working from false assumptions.

Change those assumptions and evolution makes a lot of sense.

I agree with both the evolutionists and the creationists, I think God exists and God created evolution. The whole God created the earth in a blink of an eye shouldn't be taken literally, because that blink of an eye might have been a short time from God's point of view since God has always been around, but from a human standpoint I believe it was really the millions of yrs that started from the big bang to all of the evolution that came about before man first came into being.

So I think both are right in their own way, I think most people want things to be black or white and right or wrong, instead of being able to see that things can be gray in a lot of instances. So two things can be true at the same time even though a lot of people don't want to view it that way because they want to be right.

Not only is Evolution real, it is happening yet today. If Evolution were wrong, then all we know about modern biology, medicine, geology, and even astronomy and cosmology is wrong...because all of these are based on the reality of Evolution.

It isn't that Creationists and anti-evolutionists are dumb - they usually are quite intelligent. But they've adopted a world-view that's simply another complex fairy tale like the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus. Anything that challenges their concept of Biblical supremacy terrifies them; even when the challenge is based upon irrefutable science and logic that they can understand, fear makes them reject it. One could pity them but for the fact that their world-views directly affect your life and mine and those of people we care deeply about. So, when their beliefs lead them to suppose it's okay to tell my daughters and granddaughters what to do with their bodies, I am compelled to stand against them and use whatever means necessary to stop them - even lethal force!

I'm all for reason and compromise - but I will NOT compromise on my right to be let alone and the rights of my loved ones, too.

The perspective of Evolution and Common descent is quite obvious with the evidence today...

Also, I think you have a little bit of an imbalance in the standard stereotypical responses of Evolution proponents and Creationists.

It happened

Here is my list. There is more, I just tried to stick with the easy to understand ones.

* Fossils - the order can be determined by stratification alone (no radiological dating) it is unarguable and life started simple and got more complex. Here is a simple chart to show what I mean: http://pubs.usgs.gov/gip/fossils/succession.html
* Anatomical similarities between species.
* Chemical similarities between species.
* Mitochondrial DNA regressive studies. - This comes only from your mother and the only changes to it are through mutations. These mutations occur at a known rate, and converge world wide 150,000 years ago give or take. If Eve (6000 years ago) was the only female, it would be almost identical world wide. It is not. The flood gives a second bottleneck that matches the facts even less well.
* Geographic distribution of related species. Meaning related species are usually near each other.
* Wisdom Teeth - there isn't room on your jaw for them anymore.
* Your little toe - totally useless. Nice intellegent design here.
* Your appendix - totally useless now but it does digest cellulose in other species.
* Your inner eyelids - They don't even work now, but they do for lots of other animals like house cats. Bet you didn't even know you had 'em.
* Vestigial DNA - meaning chromosomes that we have but don't use, but that are used in other species. We have several that other primates use but are totally useless to us.
* The fact that we share so much DNA among species
* There are no wild cows. They evolved through artificial selection and are totally man made.
* Different breeds of dogs, cats, livestock.
* Viruses and bacteria evolve quickly and you can actually see it. This is why you need a new flu shot every year.
* Your tail bone. It is even not that uncommon to be born with a tail.
* Goosebumps - this would be useful if we had fur because it fluffs it and makes more insulation. For us it is worthless.
* The hair standing up on your neck when you are frightened. Animals use this to make themselves look bigger. Doesn't work when you walk upright and don't have fur.
* The fact that humans have gotten measurably and heritablely taller since the 1600s
* The fact that humans jaw have gotten measurably and heritablely smaller since the 1600s
* The fact that humans little toes have gotten measurably and heritablely smaller since the 1600s
* Human lower back problems. Your back is intelligently designed to have support from your shoulders.
* Transitional fossils - here are several lists: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_transitional_fossils

Edit: ******It is completely my own list. I just get tired of answering the same question over and over. The stratification argument by itself is enough to establish the large idea if not the mechanism.*********

The Evolution of the Energy?, well God was an energy and he became aware and so forth, and decide to create the World, that he achieved through the Evolution of many more Energies as well the Evolution of matter. although the opposition of negative energies, will affect God plans and the Evolution(moving forward), of his plans, will achieved delays?, matter evolution was accomplish as God will influence Matter's and the substances of matter not to achieved changes for mutation, Evolution isn't a word create by Humans but by God, although we can say, that because evolution is an early cause of God beginning to live, know is use to deny his, potentials to accept and take in a form of evolution even in the Energy of his own conscious -awareness? <

Evolution is the theoretical paradign for all of biological science. The evidence for evolution is overwhelming from several different convergent lines of evidence (biogeography, molecular genetics, ecology, paleontology, developmental biology, immunology, comparative morphology, systematics, etc.). I am a professional biologist working in the field of conservation and use concepts of evolutionary processes every day to help me design plans for species survival.

I am a firm believer in God and I beleive with my whole heart that he is a master scientist. Who else could take dirt from the ground and make a man. Any way I belive in God and in Evolution. I believe that the universe itself is Evolving , just like man and that it is all part of God's plan. I believe that the universe is a work of art and I am glad to be a part of it.

Actually there is no argument. The premises of macro-evolution is undeniable scientific fact. I'm a biology major, and evolution is only a theory in the sense that gravity is a theory. One must understand science to understand why some theories with thousands of pieces of evidence in every scientific field and near complete consensus, can not be promoted to principle. There really is no debate, sorry to break it to you.

Now a few of the processes of macro-evolution are still up for debate.

EARL- please learn the basics of evolution before trying to speak about it. I don't mind people debating, but blasting off about something you have no idea about is one of my pet peeves.

-You could start with the transitional forms and partial forms we have of countless species, despite what many people who twist logic try to make people believe.- It has been proven for a large portion of these that they are physiologically incompatible with current species, while showing trends of transition.

There are a number of facts that seem to imply evolution. For instance the fact that a mole and a giraffe have the same number of neck bones. However, the Almighty told us in scripture that things would breed and have young "after their kind" and this seems to be what we see in the real world. For instance after the evolutionary pattern, it would seem that birds (for instance) would be interbreeding and forming new types of birds. We do not see this, so it seems doubtful that the Evolutionism theory of the origin of species is seriously flawed. (How is that?)
