This always happens to me. I make the Pillsbury strawberry toaster streudels a lot. I found that popping it in the microwave for 30-40 seconds before toasting it seems to do the trick. Because sometimes if you set them for another toaster cycle they burn on you and taste gross.

You didn't mention if the outside gets warm or not. Could be that the setting on your toaster is not high enough, or you might want to consider putting it in twice.

I toast them for a little bit. Then I pull them out, and put them in the microwave for 10 seconds on each side.

I had this same problem....are you storing them in the freezer? If so try switching them to the fridge. I did and now they come out crispy and hot inside every time. I know it says on the box to store them in the freezer, but if you eat them fast enough, like we do in my house, they are fine in the fridge. Hope this helps.

THANK YOU!!! It's just good to know that I'm not the only one. Here's the deal: toater strudels suck, and now I'm back to being a pop tarts gal.
