Absolutely correct.

As far as the history books go, we see that empires, civilizations, and countries of great magnitude decline with about a 250-500 year span. This is like a big chain. One empire dies, a second takes over.

Starting back at the Romans. Through corruption, and little participation in military from their people, the fell within one thousand years. The next were the Byzantines. They fell due to military and little military leadership in about 100-200 years. Next came the Mongols. What happened to them? Well once Kubali Kahn died, the empire saw a fall due to their little military experience. We can argue that the Middle Evil Ages brought empires that rose and fell due to their military tendency to lack necessary parts.

Once you lose soldiers you lose protection. Once you lose protection you lose land and population, and soon the decline will hit hard.

Also when a country is rising, they are rising due to economic and military booms. If you lose that military you no longer gain land, and followers, therefore you either stay steady or fall.

Well only if the war is just, and only when! This current fiasco the "President" has gotten us into was never just. War is never the answer. You cannot bring about peace by bloodshed. Thing just don't work like that.

Depends on which country you are referring to. Assuming you meant the US, All of our soldiers have plenty of ability and will........It is not their fault that they are having to look harder to find actual REASONS!
