This is a process that takes many successive lives on earth to eventually achieve. Sister Theresa had reached the level of such self-contentment that she did not need anything material. The deep conviction in God and in His existence, carrying out His laws on earth, largely sufficed for her. Besides, she altruistically gave without counting and in return got everyone's love back.

Many hours in front of the Blessed Sacrament in Adoration. I remember reading a story about her and she was inspecting one of their places and she was standing in the restroom part and she started just gleaming from ear to ear. Well the person that showed her around was thinking that there was something wrong or something but, he didn't know what it was because everything was just spotless so he asked her what was so funny and she said that it wasn't funny it was just that she was so happy because from the look of the shiny bathroom she knew someone loved Jesus very much.

It comes at a price. Strict asceticism and self denial is the path to achieving humility and it's a path that very few are willing to tread.

All you have to do is realize that each and every person is made in the image of God and try to find Jesus Christ in each and every person. Once you achieve this and treat everyone accordingly, humility will follow.

Humbleness? Uh, do you know anything anbout her other than the crap youve heard from the Church? She was no saint...rather than ease the suffering of her patients, she refused to give them medications. Instead, she pocketted all that money her charities earned - so much so, they refuse to this day to release any financial documents. She said that she wanted to die like the people she cared for - instead, she died in a private hospital room surrounded by medical equipment. She wrote a letter defending one of the American guys who was busted in the 1980's Savings and Loan scandals - and when the US Attorney wrote her back and said that she was in possesssion of stolen money that she should return - she turned her back on that guy she defended and never gave back the money that he had donated to her - STOLEN MONEY.

You might want to read her biography, dude.

How do you know she was humble? Maybe she was.

Go and follow what the Lord Jesus leads you to do. Love God, love people, and be perfect.

Mat 25:35-39 For I was hungry and you fed me.......I assure you, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!

I find that when I look into the face of others, if I try to see the face of Jesus, it helps me to feel his love and compassion for them and act upon it.
