I just wanted to say that I love being pregnant. Yes, it has it's moments but, can you imagine.. when your holding your precious little one. I have always been told by my family that children are gifts of god. I truly believe that. I can't wait to hold my little Tristan in my arms and kiss his precious face. My husband and I both wanted a boy and we have been blessed with having one(soon!)I just wanted to say.. I LOVE BEING PREGNANT! Does anyone agree with me? Feeling that little life move inside of you, It's so amazing to me. I just lay my hand on my tummy all day and just feel him move. It takes my breathe away. Good luck to all your mommies or mommies to be and Never consider a pregnancy a bad thing. Babies are precious! Thanks for listening to me!

Pregnancy is beautiful..Labor is not...

I loved being pregnant too. I felt so earthy, feminine, and beautiful!

I'm going to chime in on labor here:

Everyone is always saying how AWFUL labor is and how much it HHURTS. That's NOT always the case. If you have a good mindset, are well rested, hydrated, nourished and have a good support network (I highly recommend a doula), labor CAN be as incredible an experience as pregnancy. When I was in labor w/ my son, my contractions were SO strong. It took all of my mental energy, and the support of my husband and doula, to stay on top of them. Sometimes I felt like I was trying to ride a herd of stampeding buffalo! Yet, they DIDN'T hurt!!! The ctx didn't hurt until I got tired (after being stuck in transition for a long time). Though the ctx didn't increase in intensity, I felt them as pain for the first time.

That experience taught me that birth is very powerful. If you let it, it can pull down all the walls in your consiousness. It can connect you w/ every woman that has ever been and ever will be. It is such a powerful thing. I wouldn't miss any of it for anything in the world.

Loved it the first time and loving it again the second time around! I am just starting to really show and the baby's kicking up a storm in there -- it's so exciting. All those cute maternity clothes... all the anticipation... all the attention. It's great!

The only thing I don't care for this time around is having to tote a very active toddler around with me to my VERY FREQUENT OB and lab appointments. I have no one to watch her for me during the day and that is really difficult!

Other than that... it's all been a dream! LOL

P.S. Love the name Tristan! That is one I had not thought of yet... it's definitely going on my list of possibilities! =;o)

I was a miserable pregnant person, and at times a miserable Mom.... sleep depravation will do that!!
Now that the pregnancy is over (9months post-partum) I have a hard time remembering what it was like. If I was to do it again, I would try to enjoy it more, and pay more attention to all the litte things!!
