I wish we could but I don't think it's a good idea. I thought there was some law about it. I might have to ask that on here.

No!! First of all, that is against the law. Second, it is considered child neglect! Please do not consider doing this! If it is a big deal to take your small children with you than have someone else pick your child up or stay home with your kids while you go pick up your child!
You would hate for something to happen to your children while left alone in the house! It only takes seconds for kids to get into trouble!

Absolutely not. What would happen if you get into a horrible car accident on the way to or from school? What happens if someone has been watching your home and breaks in as soon as you leave? What happens if the kids figure out how to get out of the house and leave?
Bad bad bad bad bad bad idea - and totally illegal. If a neighbor suspected that the kids were in the house alone and called the cops, you could be arrested and could lose custody of your children.
Doesn't seem worth the risk to me - does it to you?

NO!!!
If you're having trouble getting to the school to pick up the third, ask a neighbour to pick him/her up or make an arrangement with a teen/older child you trust to pick them up and walk them home - for a fee of course.
When I was 11/12, I used to pick up and walk home my younger brother plus two kids who lived up the street from us for $10 a week. Extra spending $ is always welcome and hard to come by at that age.
Or, depending on the child's age - have them walk home on their own and meet them at the corner/half way/on the porch/etc..
But be strict about their coming home straight from school and not talking to any one along the way.
And do not leave the little one's alone - that's just asking for trouble!

No, anything can happen, you could get into a car wreck at the end of the block. Don't do it, the stove could blow up, they could turn on the gas, they could open the door and wander into the street, they could put something in their mouths! It is too risky. From our local news a woman left her 2 month old baby at home with the 4 and 8 year old. They were eating, and the 4 year old gave the 2 month old a french fry and the baby choked to death. The woman is in jail and her 4 year old has to live with this guilt (of something he had no control over) for the rest of his LIFE! :(

not to mention choking, even if they are older, my 7 year old choked not too long ago on her food. And like the other guy said, if you get in an accident......too much could go wrong. You don't want to be that mother on the news saying, "it was just for a couple minutes" while your house is burning down with your kids inside. My 2 year old figured out how to unlock and oped the doors, it's just not safe!

Absolutely not.....alot can happen in the two minutes you are leaving them there alone. That is not even considering getting held up at the school a few unexpected minutes longer. It is just unsafe and you could get in major trouble for doing it.

NO. The only way I would do that is if one of the children at home was at least 12 years of age.

NO, in most states a child has to be 12 or 13 to be left alone. and it is also child endangerment, if someone found out and turned you in. you could loose your children. Besides, what would happen if you had an accident, and your little kids would be by themselves at home. alot can happend in a short drive.

No way, besides it probably being against the law, it is dangerous. While you are gone anything could happen. Imagine if you came back and your house was on fire and the children inside dead. How eould you feel???? Worst case senario i know but seriously, the kids could could be up to anything and anything can happen. Don't ever leave children unattended.

Absolutely not. Don't you read the news? It only takes a second for a child to light a match or stick something in a light socket, etc. Take them with you when you pick yp the other child.
