Does anyone else get fed up with celebrities who sell weight loss videos and books and then put a load of weight back on?

The above celebrities are the ones I am thinking of.

Absolutely.
I think people would appreciate them more if they
offered their services by going to schools. Primary
and Secondary and give the teachers and students
tips on how they did it.
Instead they have got to go and make a lot of money
of people like me. Every video I have bought is crap.
We would all do best with a personal trainer. That is
why I think the gym or slimming classes are best.
At least that way there are people in the same position
as yourself and you can help each other. I just think
they give 'fat cats' another meaning.
Another thing that grates at me is when they are privileged
enough to go on T.V. Fit Club (or Fat Club) and they cry
because they are so tired!!! I wish I had the chance. Every
week they are weighed etc., in front of the nation. What an
incentive. Even that fat Lizzy wotsername was on it - and
she was only on there because she had been on another Reality
Show and is well know for being a foul-mouthed benefit fraudster!!

What a concept Vanessa Feltz in lycra and sequins. Skating would make her unfastened greater weight, yet till she misplaced the burden i do no longer think of her companion would have the skill to enhance her. He would p.c. lease a crane at first to help him. in spite of this Vanessa Feltz constantly has a sturdy attempt and places attempt into something that she does, so she basically could be ok on DOI. Vanessa would accomplish that lots greater valuable then Todd did!

Definitely agree.

And even worse are those who claim to have lost weight through diet and excercise but actually just had liposuction or surgical proceedures - like Jade Goody and that woman (Vicky something) off Coronation St.

Of course it's all a con!

The person who made me the maddest was Jane Fonda! In the 80s she made a FORTUNE out of exercise videos, hitting us with phrases like "feel the burn" and "no pain, no gain!" and making us all believe that she got her fantastic body by using her tapes every day...then it gets out that her "fantastic" bod is thanks to a fair amount of cosmetic surgery! There were even rumours that she's had some of her ribs removed to make her waist look smaller!! (But that was never proven...)

Having said all that, I used Cher's fitness vids and they were a blast...bloody difficult, but bloody good!

We have many graduates with Honours degrees in Fitness Video Production (& many other useful subjects). These celebs provide these poor, unfortunate souls with employment opportunities.
