I'm 18 and I like dating girls that are in their mid 20's... Is there anything I can do that will help me be more "eligible" to these girls? I know they want someone who is like financially well off or what?

I am 58.
My husband is 34.
He promised to rejuvenate me. I promised him my wisdom. We get on beautifully even though people stare at us. I look my age, he is young and handsome. We do not care. His wealth protects us.
It is easier when you are older, to date older women.
This is a tough time for you. Girls in this age group rarely notice younger guys. They are looking for same age or older. Often their values are more superficial than not.
When you are young a few years' difference can seem like a long time. When you older, that same difference is nothing much at all.
Nothing makes a guy "more eligible" more than being classy, compassionate and a good guy. However many girls at the age you mention are busy getting their lives organized or, sadly, partying and doing things you are way too young for.
All you can do is play a waiting game. Meanwhile, if you are serious about older women, get to know what makes women tick. Spend time with women, be invisible at a party and listen to them talk. Gain knowledge and maturity about women. Our interests and needs change over the decades. The lucky woman is the one who gets a husband who "gets" women while still being wholly masculine himself. BTW... none of us are turned on by the "metro male". They are usually not masculine enough.
HOWEVER, just because you have a fetish for older girls, you should not ignore girls in your age group. You might be surprised.
Wherever you can get "women experience" go for it. Learn about how women think, what they talk about, women's language. it can only help!

As a rule, men come into emotional maturity later than women. At your age, you should be thinking about college and find young women to date that are closer to your age. As you get older and wiser, the age difference won't matter as much, but it will now. In all probability (although everyone develops at their own rate), you lack the maturity and sophistication a mid-20's woman is seeking. Odds are they're finished with school, out in the work force, and you're just starting to expand your world. Good luck!

work out, get a tan, go get 'em. They don't expect you to be financially stable. They just want a toy. Especially if they are in the 30-40 range. DO NOT FALL FOR ANY OF THEM! You just have to have the balls to go talk to them-that's it. Sugar Mamas are a wonderful thing

Well you have to be mature in everything you do and do not give easily when you are turned away. Yes, they like financial security. You are not that young so don't worry you will find that girl soon

financially well...you mean the guy is to pay the bill on everything, because he is the man, and the woman is the one that deserves it because she is giving her time and its not free?
high maintenance b.s. and gold-diggers need financially well.
you want to date older women, it is true you need to have some things that they are looking for: a vehicle would be nice, decent set of clothes, your own place...this is what it means to be financially well, well enough to own and upkeep these things.
extra points are to delve into educating yourself outside of your age, if you want an older women, you need to know what older women are into nowadays. some maturity in behaivor and knowledge is what I am saying.

Most guys that are 18 are only into themselves - women like to feel important. Make sure you ask questions about her and are truly interested in her response. I think that is one huge difference between younger men and older. Good luck in your pursuit!

Come on now, I'm 21 and I see women that are 25+ Nothing wrong with that, if they don't mind having a barely legal boyfriend then there is no objection in your case.

I was a mom, and I wanted to be the mom, the one in control.
You'd likely get another such woman, is all.
There's always something screwy when a woman goes younger.
