I smoked weed 6 days ago. I haven't smoked for 6 months. I've only smoked a handful of times in my life. I was really drunk at the time I smoked. It's 6 days later and I still feel really off. My short term memory is terrible and I feel uncoordinated at times. Anyone know why it is affecting me so much? Thanks for your help

For some people the effects of weed last only a few hours and it dosn't mess with their memory that much. Hell, they don't even get the munchies, it just relaxes them.
For other people, weed really affects them (like other drugs hit other people really hard) and they can't remember things well, they can't drive safely, and they get really really high. You sound like someone who just has a low tolerance for weed. You have two options:
1) If you want to smoke, keep smoking recreationally until it doesn't affect you like that. It will go down. Concentrate on what you are doing and pay attention.

2) If you do not like how it makes you feel, don't smoke anymore. And don't drink to the point where you can't make that decision. If you choose that, I would also say stay away from other drugs as well as it seems your body is quite sensitive to stimulants.

Its all dependant on the concentration of THC. was it a weed that you were smoking or was it a sess? Depending on what it was an the concentration it will have different effects. There's well over 6000 highbreds of cannabis Sativa, Indica an Ruderales.
I'd seriously doubt your short term memory would be that effected after only a handfull of times you got stoned. Its usually associated with long term use.
When you smoke an drink the chemicals interact completely differently than if you do just one.
Coordination isn't usually effected after short term exposure an after about 8 to 10 hours from use.

Unless your having cannabis pschosis, which your not believe me. it takes mass amounts an you'd know about it if you had it, not nice. It can last aanything from 4 days to 2 weeks, an you'd be aggressive as fuc!<.

You need to relax an stop beating yourself up, thats the thing about draw, it messes with your perception of everything.

Two possible reasons suggest themselves: (1), either you're new to smoking weed (in which case) it's having a more pronounced effect on you, or (2), there was something else inside the weed you smoked. Maybe now would be a good time to quit.

you said you were drinking to that is a depressant try to relax and when your memory isnt what it should be let it go and come back to the thought soon you will remember what you wanted to,i would really suggest you stay away from it/it seems to be having a bad affect on you, maybe time will get you back on the road,i dont know how long it stays in your system but should be going by now if it keeps disturbing you go see the doctor tell him what happened remember they are only people too and have done things they shouldnt have as well......................good luck

it may have something to do with drinking & smoking....have you ever done that before & did you get the same results?
i smoke a lot & have never had it effect me in such a manner. however, i do know that if i have something i need to get done, it's better for me not to smoke until after it's done.
honestly, i have never heard of anyone experiencing this before. you may have an allergy or possibly be ultra-sensitive to certain types of drugs. i'm curious about what you'll find out.

maybe you're coming down with a cold. an inner ear infection could cause the lack of coordination. i don't think it's the weed.
