If you live in the United States, I wouldn't recommend Aryan as a name. White supremicists call themselves aryan because it means to be non-jewish or of indo-european descent. Formerly, it just meant of indo-Iranian descent, but it no longer holds the same meaning. If you don't live in the United States, I think it's a great name. I actually really like it, and it's sad that white supremicists call themselves aryan.

Aryan (/eərjən/ or /aerjən/) is an English language word derived from the Sanskrit and Iranian terms ārya-, the extended form aryāna-, ari- and/or arya- (Sanskrit: आर्य, Persian: آریا). Beyond its use as the ethnic self-designation of the Proto-Indo-Iranians, the meaning "noble/spiritual one" has been attached to it in Sanskrit and Persian. In linguistics, it is sometimes still used in reference to the Indo-Iranian language family, but it is primarily restricted to the compound Indo-Aryan, the Indic subgroup of the Indo-Iranian branch.

Spelled Arian Asad, could be Silver Lion

ARIANE
Gender: Feminine

Usage: English, French, German

Pronounced: er-ee-AN (English), a-ree-AN (French) [key]

Variant of ARIANNE. It has possibly been influenced by the Welsh word arian "silver".

ARIADNE
Gender: Feminine

Usage: Greek Mythology, English

Other Scripts: Αριαδνη (Ancient Greek)

Pronounced: ah-ree-AHD-nee (Ancient Greek), ar-ee-AD-nee (English) [key]

Means "most holy", composed of the Cretan Greek elements αρι (ari) "most" and αδνος (adnos) "holy". In Greek mythology, Ariadne was the daughter of King Minos. She fell in love with Theseus and helped him to escape the Labyrinth and the Minotaur, but was later abandoned by him.

By legend, that may be how it became known to mean naked.

ASAD
Gender: Masculine

Usage: Arabic

Other Scripts: أسد (Arabic)

Means "lion" in Arabic.
