Excellent question--unpleasant answer. Nothing is ever done about anything until white people are affected.
Take the illegal immigration issue. This has been going on since the 1970's. Black men used to do drywall, painting, roofing, etc. Now you hardly ever see a black man doing this type of work. Was anything done then? No, but "suddenly" everyone's upset about it. Why? Because now white people have begun to lose their jobs. The whole thing makes me sick.

Actually, it's because meth addiction is easier to treat than crack addiction. Meth treatment centers are better able to get funding because they have better success rates. It doesn't have anything to do with race.

actually, less people are addicted to meth now then 5 years ago. mostly its the lastest in drug epidimic scare that law enforcement uses to get billions of extra dollars in funding. also, crack heads live mostly in the ghetto, and nobody cares about the ghetto. ya feel me????? word

i dont belive its race or class, i think it has to do with the user, maybe its easier to treat meth addicts, theremore there are more results, therefore more money, therefore, more treatment centers. It has nothing to do with skin color, many whites are addicted to cocaine too. Its just a matter of money, funding, and commercial value

Well, it's very apparent, the Government "The Man" is totally predigest against black people, this why Coke (used manly by Whites) is not as criminalized as much as crack (which is made from coke, more addicting and dangerous and used mainly by blacks).

White people are addicted to crack too (ex my sons father). But it seems that people who do meth are from well to do families more so then people who do crack.
It's a class issue, not a race issue.

Maybe because when you make meth it can blow up with all the chemicals and crack does not have chemicals?

It's a race issue. Same problem with the discrepancy between mandatory minimun sentences of powder cocaine and rock cocaine. We've got a long way to go....
