insult, ridicule, demean and sometimes show hatred when asking questions to Christians? Why group all Christians like these examples from only 2 questions here today: dangerous, illogical, crazy, 'The Herd', dumb, spoofed, 'embarassing' behavior of CHRIST, don't have a valid opinion, need all the help they can get, swine they are and so on. This isn't a Fascist nation nor who was at Creation to say they are right for sure? I know pushy Christians may seem a bother but is that the worst thing someone can do?

Most people lash out when they feel backed into a corner, but who knows if that applies here or not. They're going to come back at you that it's Christians who do the name calling, which is another backed-into-a-corner type of response. That's easy enough to refute. Just count the questions, then count answers.

Pray for them and try not to be angered. God bless.

Brendan G: Anyone can say, "I am a Christian." You have no idea what kind of person posted that. I can assure you of one thing, it was not a follower of Christ. I'm sorry you had to read something so awful. But the evidence you present cannot convict people of faith, nor would it hold up in your secular courts.

The mentioning of god or the bible discusts me, because disdain is always in their delivery system. I will not be controlled. My mom and dad used to get humiliated, and the pulp beat out of them by nuns and priests when they were in school. ( this is mild if you look at the church through history.) Mass murder, rape, pedophilia, war, torture. The bible was/is a tool to control the meak, so that the rich can have heaven on Earth. I don't know where we came from, and I might not ever know. I don't care either, I'm here and thats good enough for me. What I'm not going to do is WISH myself an answer to that question. I hate to be lied to by someone who doesn't have fact one about what they think they are telling me the truth about. To each his own.

Alot of "Christans" do the same thing....I believe no one religion is above the rest, if you take a close look at the major religions of the world i.e Islam, Judaism, Christianity, they all come from the same roots, one god, and same basic principles. People just need to accept that there are people of different beliefs, but generally have the same morals.

Because they are immature, ignorant, intolerant, foolish, selfish, and indecent, just like the Chistians who do the same to non-Christians. Unfortunately, many (NOT ALL) from both groups have a philosophy that demands the harassment of the other beliefs.

When you hear these comments made at you---just reply with "Thank you"

"Rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when His glory is revealed" 1 Peter 4:13

Most people in person would not be so harsh. Many of us got Christianity shoved down our throats thus is more a reflexive response. I have great Christian, Jewish, and Muslim friends I just do not back down if asked, "Why don't you believe in God?"

I think they feel this need because they don't understand Christianity and they think if I bring them down I'll feel better about myself. "pushy" Christians may seem bothersome, but someone trying to save your soul is a lot less bothersome then someone trying to kill you or abuse you

a self-professed Christian here posted a question (a statement really) saying he wanted to gut and quarter an atheist who had posted earlier.
