The Salmon, hands down........It has the highest amount of Omega 3 fatty acids that have been clinically proven to be very heart healthy........Salmon is also more "sturdy" a flavor to hold up to assertive marinades and sauces........Cod is OK, but a very mild fish and trout, for me is too bony..........I really don't care for freshwater fish (I know, I know, Salmon are both fresh and saltwater, depending on what point of their lives they're in......) But a dinner of Wild Alaskan Salmon, YUM!!!! Cedar Planked Brown Sugar Salmon............I know what's for dinner tonight!!

The Omega-3 fatty acids in salmon are excellent for you, and cod is a very high protein, low fat food. Sadly, they are both likely exposed to more mercury, copper (from hull paints) and other contaminants than trout.
Trout, lighly dusted with corn meal and gently fried in a little bacon fat is also one of the finest things you can eat!
Best wishes!

Salmon is the best for you since it has the highest amount of good fat. Wild Salmon that is. NOt the highly home spawn kind they grow in fish farms.

I think salmon is the best of the three nutritionally. But I LOVE cod, as well. I think it's my absolute favorite fish.
