He was never knocked out. Ali lost to Larry Holmes when he retired after the 10th round in 1980. He lost a further 2 bouts by Unanimous decision, and 2 more by split decision.

His name is spelled MUHAMMED and he was never knocked out. His corner stopped the fight vs. Larry Holmes. He was knocked down about 4 times in his career, but like the true champion he was he always got up before a 10 count.

henry cooper knocked him down but he was saved by the bell and his corner bought time changing a glove as he was seperated from his senses...larry holmes stopped him but took his foot off the gas likely out of respect and he finnished upright.

As I remember he was knocked down by Marciano and lost that fight. But, I don't remember that he was nocked out.
