An opinion on life after death only matters to Christians since death is their ultimate goal of life. To the rest of us, we live Life as God's gift doing everything we can to make the world we live in a better place for all humanity regardless of race, creed, etc.

It is an absolute iron clad guarantee that there IS life after death. Any notion to the contrary is wishful thinking on the part of atheists and others. The proof is that there is life BEFORE death.
A diskette weighs the same full of information or completely empty. A body weighs the same dead or alive. You can take information off the disk and that information can be moved or stored forever even though you discard the diskette. God can take the information that is essentially you, and move you or store you or bring you back anywhere he wants.
Our universe is finite because it had a beginning and it will have an end. Eternity has no beginning or end and does not exist anywhere in this reality. In this reality, there is a limit to how fast things can go, and a limit on how slow things can go. There is a limit on how big things can get, and a limit on how small things can get. This should cause you to conclude that our reality is actually a subset of a bigger reality, which is something that the bible has said all along.

Finally, a serious question.
We are by nature a dual entity. We are actually a spirit being housed inside a mortal body. We were spirit beings before we were born. God placed his children into mortality so that they could learn by their experiences to distinguish right from wrong. We live by faith to listen to the spiritual promptings in our lives with the goal of becoming as He is or becoming like Him. That means developing those characteristics and personality traits that He already has. We cannot expect to return to Him unless or until we have become like Him. Thus, when our mortality is over, our spirits leave our bodies behind for a time while we go to a spiritual existence separating the righteous from the wicked. If our lives have been basically good, then we go to Paradise where we rest from our mortal cares and continue to learn about God and the resurrection, preparing for our next phase. Those that were basically bad go to a place called prison where they can contemplate on their mistakes and begin the repentance process and then learn what they should have learned while in mortality. They also prepare for the resurrection, after the resurrection of the just. At the resurrection, we are taken before Christ to be judged and to receive our final reward. Those that faithfully followed Christ throughout their lives go to the Celestial Kingdom, compared in the sun in glory. Those that were good but did not faithfully follow Christ go to the Terrestrial Kingdom, compared to the moon in glory. Finally, those that remain bad, go to the Telestial Kingdom, compared to the stars in glory. Only a relative few become Sons of Perdition and receive a place with Satan in outer darkness, a place with no glory.
Thus, death is a time of rejoicing or dread depending upon what side of the line you are on.
That is a quick sketch only.

I could give you my opinion of life after death, but it wouldn't amount to a hill of beans. The Lord controls life after death and His opinion and only His opinion counts. His Word tells us in the most known verse of the Bible that He gave His Son Jesus Christ
and to receive life everlasting you must believe on Jesus Christ.

Psalm 146:4 - "His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish."
Some are taught in church that Hell is a place of suffering where evil souls go and Heaven is where good people go.
This is not a bible teaching:
Did Abraham die and went to a ever-burning hell? Surely idol worshippers would not be in heaven. Yet, Abraham was with his forefathers, Scripture says.
Joshua 24:2 - "Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor; and they served other deities," Genesis 15:15. "And you shall go to your fathers".
King David was a righteous king he must of gone to heaven? NO?
Acts 2:34 - For David did not ascend into the heavens.
When Lazarus died Jesus spoke to Martha that he was in Heaven? NO?
John 11:11 - Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.
Besides Jesus there must of been some one righteous enough to go to heaven? NO?
John 3:13 - No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.
When Jesus kingdom arrives he promised the good will go to heaven. NO?
Matthew 5:5 - Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
Surely people who are holy as saints and priests will rule with Jesus in heaven? NO?
Revelation 5:10 - You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."
finally, the second death (from Rev 21:8) is a location for bad people to suffer in a fiery place. NO?
Rev 20:14 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
-The Second death is a judgment not a location. Jesus is promising that those who are not wicked will be resurrected and never die again. (Rev 20:15)
Verdict: Death is Hell. It's the grave where we are like in a sleep like state but have no conscience thought. Waiting to be brought back to life if we have followed Jesus teachings.

My opinion is, lacking evidence for it that is not better explained other ways, is that life after death is not true, that death is the end of us.

If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)
