Whatever it was that I had, it lasted about 48 hours and caused to me to throw up everything I ate. I'm starting to feel a little better (stomach-wise) and am beginning to feel very weak (I've only eaten a few spoonfuls of applesauce in the past two days). What is the best thing to eat when nothing seems appetizing? I was thinking some toast or a bagel.

Depending on how long you've had it... If you just started feeling sick, stick with liquids until you actually feel hungry. I would suggest water mostly and maybe a can of sprite (I suggest sprite just because it doesn't taste horrible if you do end up puking.) If you feel hungry, eat a few saltine crackers. If that stays down, try a little toast or mashed potatoes. The blander, the better. I know sometimes a little fruit will help just stay away from acidic fruits...that could make things worse. If you get sick, go back to fluids only and try again later. Hope you feel better soon!

No toast or a bagel, they are too heavy. I would recommed some chicken broth or if you are up to it, chicken noodle soup....nothing more than that and a lot of fluids.

BRAT diet:
Banannas, rice, applesauce, toast.
You should be up to regular food after about a day.
Gatorade will help with the dehydration.

Saltine crackers, and some soup broth, it is what I always eat after being sick, and I can always hold it down. Whatever you chose to eat, don't eat any heavy meals or anything greesy.

any clear liquids: juice, jello, chicken broth. As you start to feel better you can try some milk or ice cream, and then progress to solid food (keep them light at first) as you can tolerate them
