If you have Medicare or Medicaid, most physicians will "accept assignment" (ie whatever they pay), without additional fee to perform this very common surgery (lens replacement.)

I would suggest you contact JPS Health Network in Ft. Worth. They can help people who need medical care. This is not free, but they will work with you on your fees based on your income. They have an Eye Clinic and have residents there that are specializing in Ophthalmology. They are supervised by very good board certified physicians. The main phone number is (817) 921 3431.
