I have two boys, one of seven and one of three. My sister and I both have only boys, and it is just me and her. I have thought about having another child, but my tubes are tied. Whenever I made that decision it was mainly because I went through post partum depression after having my second child.I think of having another one but maybe not right now, but in the future, I would just like to try for a girl. What are your suggestions and or advice?

Yes I am married, and I would not mind having another boy, but do not know what the chances are of being able to have another baby after having your tubes tied.

#1 Can you support another child through to college? Second do you really want the responsibility of another child or do you just miss having a baby in the house? If you're really serious why not talk to your Dr. and find out what your chances are of even becoming pregnant after your procedure.

My suggestion is to adopt. There are so many children out there, that includes girls, that need a home and people to love them. I don't know if you'd want to go through a surgery to reverse your situation or if it can even be done. Or maybe you have another mother picked out, but adpotion is a really good option. I'm sure another mother would pick your family to love their daughter.

A friend of mine wanted a girl before she stopped having kids and apparently there is a book out there with suggestions--the only one I remember is to have sex standing up or stand up immediately after. Supposedly, the girls are the faster swimmers as the sex of the baby is up to the father.

Just a thought--good luck!

what is your question? are you married? what to you mean by "it's only me and her"? Do you live with her. Are ya'll single. Who would be the dad?

If you get pregnant again how will you make sure it's a girl? You can't. You might end up with another boy.
