My girlfriend is Mexican and yesterday she was watching news on one of the spanish speaking channels. I caught a glimpse of these people, but I do not speak spanish and she wasn't paying attention. Anybody heard of them? Who are they? What do they believe?

I saw an intro to a story about this Puerto Rican group on American television last evening. The preacher's name is Jose Luis de Jesús Miranda, and he claims to be the second-coming of Christ, or "Man Christ Jesus," or the Antichrist. The group is known as the "Growing in Grace Ministry." Apparently Miranda believes that his life and teachings actually supersede those of Jesus of Nazareth.

Yes I heard of them, but they are not Mexicans. What you saw was presented by Univision, (a program hosted by Maria Celeste Arraras).

The leader used to be a Christian pastor who now claims to be the Anti-Christ. The man is Puerto Rican (thus, US Citizen) and the cult is established formally in the US Territory of Puerto Rico.

I am trying to schedule a meeting with that religious leader who claims to be the Anti-Christ, in an attempt to understand what is his religion about. It is part of my job to know about those things and find ways to help people who have problems with cults.

and should anyone tell them of the new archeological discovery about the number of the beast being 616?

Maybe they could get a discount on laser surgery to change it to 616 if they all went to the clinic together.

It isn't a cult thing, it's a gang thing.

They fight the gang from the next barrio who all get 555.
